The school is resourced to facilitate all aspects of the Northern Ireland Curriculum.  All the modern classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, well stocked libraries and all our pupils have access to I-Pad's. We have a computer suite and central resource area, which has a central library and an area used for music and drama related activities. Children have many opportunities to excel in sport with our indoor sports hall, two playgrounds, a grass playing pitch, netball court, long jump area and outdoor climbing frames. Pupils use the vegetable, herb, fruit garden and greenhouse to extend their outdoor learning. St. Caireall's carries out its statutory responsibility of delivering the Northern Ireland Curriculum to Foundation stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two children in our care. The learning areas include:

  • Mathematics & Numeracy
  • Language & Literacy
  • The world around us
  • The Arts
  • Personal Development and Mutual Understanding
  • Religious Education
  • Physical Education

These seven curriculum areas are co-ordinated and planned for effectively across the key stages. This ensures the children receive broad, balanced and rich learning experiences to maximise his/her potential, and become contributors to society, the economy and the environment.
